I went to the dentist today for my six month cleaning and check-up.
This time it really was only a six month interval between check-ups. Last time it had been three years. Prior to that one it had been more than three.
I'm sure you've figured out by now that I loathe going to the dentist. I'm a terrible patient and I hate people touching my teeth for any reason.
So, I'm really grateful for nitrous oxide.
And a flat screen TV on the ceiling.
And a hygienist who cares about my comfort.
And doesn't skimp on the nitrous.
She congratulated me at the end of the appointment for standing up to all the work she'd done today on my teeth.
Lady, that was not me being brave one bit.
I was flyin'!
After the appointment I spent 20 minutes browsing at Tuesday Morning before driving home.
It was necessary.
Next time I might bring a designated driver.

Going to dentists is one of life's least fun things. A TV on the ceiling would help, though! I don't think I've ever had nitrous oxide.
I noticed on your side bar that you're from ID. My husband used to live there! From his early teens through college -- we just moved him mom from there a couple of years ago.
Ugh - I went to the dentist this week, too. I didn't get the nitrous and I am jealous!
