Everything sounds so familar, however, my Hank usually ignores the barking dogs behind fences. We don't have leash laws here, so any loose dog gets his attentions...and yes, hackles are raised! And yes, I yank him along while scolding him...but I am wasting my breath! It IS a good way to get out and moving and at least with us, we have to take Hank out because he won't use our yard (his yard) for his business!!!
